walk by faith — August 11th
Every elegant detail of who you are was designed for the purposes of God.
A flower that reminds me of my dear sister Sarai W. While there are many sunflowers, there’s only one her. In the many years I’ve known and observed this woman of noble character she’s exuded power, humility, strength, love, gentleness, grace, compassion, humor, intelligence, and elegance. Seriously. All of that. I’ve learned so much from her, she doesn’t even know. Like a sponge I soaked the lessons and light of Jesus she shone. Thank you friend for choosing to surrender your life to Him as a young child, for your life has been nothing but an arrow pointing to Him with such quiet intensity that it’s easy to miss it or mistake it as nonexistent or not enough. She doesn’t even know in full her God-given identity and purpose! Those of us who are in her life are here and expectant of what will surely be the turning point and paradigm shift that changes her everything.
When a child KNOWS knows who he/she is, he/she will be free to raise her petals naturally and glorify their Father, Our Father I mean, even more and not doubt a single part of their inward and outward expression. So for now, I love and pray for more of His children to be… children in love with the Father. I LOVE the beauty in life that surrounds me and grateful to God for means of expressing that beauty and wonder to others who have yet to see it for themselves. Even if that beauty and wonder is right at home, as in the person who is in the mirror. Not who he or she sees (since eyes and the mind can be deceptive) but who God masterfully created blemish-free. In faith, let’s see what God says is there and proceed. This is an encouragement for me, because the Lord knows how much I struggle with fully walking in and by faith for myself. May God’s will be done.
