Love matters most.

No matter what anyone else says or does, this is the truth:

Love

Above

All

To my future child(ren),

Know and leave no room for doubt of this one truth: Love is the answer — to every question, every problem, and every uncertainty. It may not make all that much sense at times but it’s true. Simply ask Love and obey what Love tells you.

Around the year 2020, your mom completely lost touch with Love and herself. Like a pinball, she was captivated by the allure of the sounds, lights, and thingamajigs of the world. Everything was out of her control and she thought she liked it. She was hoping to find external peace and security in this machine, but this “place” left her with more questions than answers. More doubt and frustration than clarity. Then the good news came. The truth came like a gentle breeze — Love.

As stubborn as she was, she came to find finally in this season that the things she longed for could not be found on the outside but within. She realized she wasn’t alone, even though there was no one physically present. She surrendered the need to fake being strong when she really wasn’t. She released her thoughts so light could separate what belonged and what didn’t. She was safe with Love. She could trust Him and so she did. She wasn’t alone. She never was, even when she herself couldn’t see Him Love had been there. With all the meekness, He was there guiding her along even when she was hard of hearing and believing Him to be real and behind all the good in her life. She may not have really known Love up until that point but Love knew her. And Love pursued her. Love never left her. Love is the very reason she’s writing this message in faith. Because she cares so much for you and she sincerely hopes that you learn and have your own deep faith… one day. Now listen, your spiritual journey is your own and there is no shame in how you finally arrive at Love with no defenses or pretenses. But she prays that you find Love sooner rather than later. Because she knows how difficult of a life it is to walk without trust and surrender to Love.

So dear child(ren), never forget Love. It’s ok to forget her, your mom. It’s ok to forget your dad. But you must never forget Love. Love endures. Love will sustain you and your generations through whatever comes. You only need to know it, serve it, and give it your life. You’ll be beyond blessed if you do.

with love,

your coach, counselor, mentor, and mom

always in ❤️
